Circles
A set of 3 hand pulled Screen Prints to be displayed together on one wall. This piece of work is dedicated to two huge influences on my work, so there is no better way to start my screen printing portfolio than with a dedication to Samo (Samo was the street name of Jean Michel Basquiat) and The Radiant One (The Radiant One is in reference to Keith Haring and his iconic symbolism), two artists who where heavily influenced by the original street graffiti movement of seventies New York and were able to transfer this influence into galleries in a unique way, on there own terms.
Each piece contains references to both the symbolism and mark making of both artists which can be seen throughout my other work.
Like everything in life there are some prints that you may think look better than others, but I only see beauty in there flaws and imperfections which make them unique.
